Traphique sines

Just caught sight of this near Nageswara Rao Park.

Chennai traffic sign

But it gets even better a little beyond

More of the same

More of the same

Talk of Freudian slips!

It did occur to me that Tamil Matrimony may be better off sponsoring signboards in Tamil.

Farewell letter received this morning

March 25, 2013

Hard time is knocking my door to say Adios (Good Bye in Spanish) to all of you.

It’s been immense pleasure in working with all of you. It’s also a delightful work experience for me to grow, learn and excel in my career with all of your guidance and excellent support.

I take this opportunity to convey my heartful repentant, if i hurt any of your feeling in my words or in my performance.

I am pleasing to continue your friendship or bondage with me by calling me or mailing me.

I believe the normal response to this is “Ayyo”

The old signboard…

… and the new

The Tamil in the earlier one ought to have warned us of the shape of things to come.

I think there is a higher power that shapes our end. I got lost this morning in Bangalore and the driver was of not much use. Looking at the signboards for directions I came to this mother of them all!

I wonder if Clinton during his time in the White House had a sign that said The Bust Stops Here.
