Concrete buildings and mobile towers have drastically reduced the number of sparrows.
Sometime back I had been to the Triplicane market and Lo Behold !! There were sparrows playing about there . Alas my camera had been left at home…I felt like singing ” My heart leaps up when I behold a sparrow in my city…”Wordsworth would turn in his grave to see this plagiarism :-) ))))))))))))))) !!!

Sighted too many sparrows (specially in srinagar and pahalgam)..took lots of photos and videos…it was exciting to spot so many of them.
