Concrete buildings and mobile towers have drastically reduced the number of sparrows.
Sometime back I had been to the Triplicane market and Lo Behold !! There were sparrows playing about there . Alas my camera had been left at home...I felt like singing &quot; My heart leaps up when I behold a sparrow in my city...&quot;Wordsworth would turn in his grave to see this plagiarism :-)))))))))))))))) !!!]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[I was in kashmir last month. Sighted too many sparrows (specially in srinagar and pahalgam)..took lots of photos and videos...it was exciting to spot so many of them.

There is some awareness campaign of late in bangalore on sparrows..
